Get to Know Eric

How did you start your career in healthcare?
Prior to being in a client-facing, business development role where I’ve spent the bulk of my healthcare staffing career, I was a physician recruiter with Medicus Healthcare Solutions. The opportunity to learn the locums industry from the candidate side of the business before transitioning to the client side gave me a unique perspective of the workforce challenges that both providers and healthcare organizations are faced with today.

What brought you to HWL?
Everyone I’ve met over the years with HWL has a genuine excitement and enthusiasm about the work they are doing and the group they are doing it with. I’ve been very fortunate to have worked on some fantastic teams and with some great people in my career, and it was important to me to join an organization that invests in their people and team culture the way that HWL and Jackson Healthcare has.

What are your priorities and goals for the future of HWL?
Growth. I’ve had countless conversations with healthcare executives over the years who have expressed a need for simplified and streamlined workforce solutions, but are apprehensive about making a change to their existing coverage model. In most cases, that fear stems from transitioning from 'the devil you know' to something new. It’s my goal to educate and show how easy and seamless HWL makes that transition both internally and externally, and to empower these healthcare leaders to confidently make data-driven decisions that lead to positive outcomes for their organization and the communities that they serve.

What do you like to do in your free time?
"’m based in southern New Hampshire – an hour from the mountains, an hour from the beach, and an hour from Boston – so we get to enjoy a little bit of everything. I love skiing and spend most of my free time in the White Mountains during the winter. During the summer you’ll find me 3-putting at the local golf course, or relaxing by the lake or beach with family and friends.

Eric’s passion for building strong partnerships and delivering innovative workforce solutions aligns perfectly with HWL’s mission to transform healthcare staffing. We’re excited to see the impact he will make as we continue to grow and help healthcare organizations thrive.

Please join us in welcoming Eric to the HWL team!
