HWL Welcomes Tamara Miller, Vice President!

It is with immense pride and enthusiasm that we extend a heartfelt welcome to Tamara Miller, the latest addition to our HWL team as Vice President. With a career adorned with outstanding achievements and a profound dedication to the healthcare industry, her proven prowess in strategic solutions and business development is showcased through her role as Director of Strategic Solutions at Kirby Bates Associates, Orlando, where she orchestrated client-centered approaches, fostering growth and innovation. Previously, as Regional Sales Manager at Morgan Hunter Healthcare, Kansas City, Tamara displayed exceptional acumen in nurturing client relationships across six states, with a distinct focus on resolving EHR-based challenges.

Tamara's entrepreneurial spirit shone through as the founder of Aramat Consulting, Indianapolis, where she provided invaluable advice in sales, recruitment, and retention strategies. Her expertise enabled her to secure contracts with notable entities such as the World Trade Club of Indiana, reinvigorating the organization's membership and garnering sponsorships from prominent companies.

Furthermore, Tamara's impact extended to the esteemed role of Vice President of Client Solutions at RN and Allied Specialties, Indianapolis, where her statewide sales proficiency, coupled with strategic staffing and consultation expertise, resulted in a historic vendor management contract for a major healthcare corporation.

How did you start your career in healthcare?

I have a strong family legacy of nursing. My grandmother was the pioneer who established this tradition. Following her example, we have nearly 20 nurses in our family, with various levels of expertise and specialization, from new graduates to nurse anesthetists.

What brought you to HWL?

I admired HWL's vision and values. HWL is a leader in delivering innovative and effective solutions to the healthcare sector. I have followed the achievements of HWL, and I was thrilled when I got the opportunity to join this fantastic team. HWL has a reputation for excellence and integrity, and I am proud to be part of it. The team at HWL is composed of talented and passionate professionals who share a common goal of improving the quality of life for patients and providers. I enjoy working with such a diverse and supportive group of people who inspire me daily.

How do you plan to bring your previous experience to your role with HWL?

As a registered nurse with over 25 years of experience in various fields, I possess the skills and knowledge required to assist HWL in providing innovative and strategic solutions for healthcare organizations. My transition from Kirby Bates Associates to HWL within Jackson Healthcare will allow me to utilize my nursing foundation and leadership experience for this objective. I am eager to join HWL and contribute to its vision of transforming healthcare delivery.

What are your priorities and goals for the future of HWL?

My main objective as a member of the HWL team is to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to implement these innovative solutions in various healthcare settings. I aim to collaborate with clinical and non-clinical healthcare leaders nationwide to disseminate this information and promote best practices.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I'm a passionate traveler and learner. I love to explore new places, try new activities, and meet new people. I'm also a student, so I balance my travel with my studies. I find that traveling helps me to learn about different cultures and perspectives, and it also helps me to relax and de-stress. I'm always looking for new places to visit, and I'm always up for trying new things.

As we embrace this new chapter with Tamara Miller, we eagerly anticipate the infusion of her remarkable experience, insightful strategies, and unwavering dedication into our endeavors. We are confident that her exceptional leadership and visionary approach will propel HWL to unprecedented heights.
