We are looking forward to Tommy bringing his skills and experience to the team and building relationships while showcasing HWL’s solutions, services, and values to key stakeholders to extend our growth map.
Learn a little bit more about Tommy below:
How did you start your career in healthcare?
My first job out of college in 2004 was for a healthcare company called Goodroe Healthcare Solutions as a business analyst. They were the first company in America to get OIG approval to start Gainsharing programs for Cardiac Surgery. From there I went to LocumTenens.com in 2006 and the rest was history at JH.
What brought you to HWL?
I met Trevor Strauss who is a VP at HWL a few years ago, we stayed in touch and connected in 2022 while I was at my last job at QGenda to work together on a project. I loved what HWL was doing and from talking with my friends in the industry about HWLs growth I got really excited about what HWL is doing, and I wanted to be part of taking over the VMS/MSP space.
How do you plan to bring your past experience to your role with HWL?
I have a lot of experience in healthcare staffing and technology, and I look forward to using the lessons learned in both industries to help our customers and build strong partnerships.
What are your priorities and goals for the future of HWL?
Growth. HWL is doing great work and really helping healthcare and I want to spread the message and take over the industry.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I’ve been married for 12 years, and we have 3 boys who are all involved in sports including baseball, football, and basketball. Most of my time is spent taking them to games, lessons, and practices, which I love to do! Outside of that, I play golf, cheer on Atlanta sports, and obsess over your Back-to-Back National Champion Georgia Bulldogs. Go Dawgs!
