Introducing Paula Holbrook, Senior Vice President of Financial Operations and Accounting at HWL. With over 15 years of leadership experience, Paula is a transformational leader renowned for her expertise in driving continuous improvement and optimizing critical business processes.
Throughout her career, Paula has excelled in refining operations across managed services, collections, accounting, payroll, billing, and retirement plans. Notable achievements include streamlining billing processes for a $4B+ managed services business, eliminating late supplier payments, and implementing cost-saving measures across various functions.
Paula's commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement is evident in her proficiency in lean methodologies, data analytics, and process automation tools. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Georgia State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Georgia, along with certifications in Lean Green Belt and Scrum Fundamentals.
Getting to know Paula:
How did you start your career in healthcare?
This is my first role in healthcare. I have been in the staffing/MSP industry for 20+ years. I love being part of a company that puts people to work. Being able to do that in the healthcare space is icing on the cake.
What brought you to HWL?
I have been fortunate to have great leaders in my career. One of my former leaders connected me with Jonathan and the rest is history.
What are your priorities and goals for the future of HWL?
The energy for growing HWL is infectious. My primary goal is to provide world-class back-office service that enables us to grow while ensuring all our customers (clients, agencies, internal team members, etc.) are successfully supported.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to travel, read, and spend time with my family.
